A 7-week handbuilding class suitable for all levels. Students will learn the fundamentals of handbuilding, and how to apply it to both functional work as well as sculptural work. Together we will explore making hollow forms with pinch pots, building, pinching, and shaping forms with coils, and using the slab roller. Students will be encouraged to consider all parts of their pieces, including form, subject, surface, and more. You will leave this class with the knowledge and skillset to create decorative and functional handmade ceramics!

Class fee includes unlimited Open Studio time (outside of class, workshop & private party times) and your first 25 pounds of clay and firing
