This platter was thrown on the potter's wheel, then trimmed and the handles crafted in the form of stylized rabbits. After the bisque fire I created stencils and used underglaze pastels to evoke the softness of the rabbits' fur and surrounding leaves. It was then fired using a clear glaze.
