Friday:

Optional: Friday evening arrival...drop pots off...meet me at the wood kiln...enjoy an evening in the area (Shelburne Falls might be one of the prettiest and coolest Hilltowns around)...check-in to your AirBnB. There is also on-site camping available.

Saturday morning: Arrive at the Karma Kiln with your bisqueware at 10am. We do intros...talk about the kiln...the basics of the firing and soda process...do a slip and glaze demo...and get going.

12:30-1pmish: Break for lunch.

4pm: Load the kiln with a few helpers.

8pm: Door is up...and we start candling right away.

Sunday:

7am: Off we go. Kiln is usually around 1400...maybe even nearing 1600.

With a smidge of luck...the final log gets chucked somewhere around 7pm, roughly. We've gone as late as about 11pm.

Folks can bring 12-20 smaller pots. I.e. mugs, bowls, vases, bottles.

It's a one-stop shop here. We provide everything except non-flammable clothing...and full UV protective sunglasses. That, and their pots, is all folks need to bring.

Tuesday 11am: We unload. And...no cleanup! Folks just need to come and oggle, share each other's epic pots...pack up and head home.
